Planning an Italy Trip

finding a hotel less than a hundred kd per day is like searching for brad pitt in Marina mall (hopeless even for a look alike!!)
-
I hate that i can only go for 12 days maximum, because of my stupid job vacation.
-
all my life i wanted so badly to go to italy, now that i’ve read every possible information on net and in books, i’m scared..
-
of the language barrier, of being lost in translation…
-
or having a financial shock and asking family to wire money (dreadful idea for someone vacationing!!)
-
i can’t wait to go … i know it’s going to be a great true romantic full of public display of emotionsΒ parade for us!!
-
ferrari manufacturing, juventus club, on top of the must visit list.

ENJOY
italy is the best place ever. rome is my favorite city in the world.. the shopping is magnificent and the people are truly genuine and friendly. its not like germany where no one bothers to understand you..
its really romantic there too.. forget france, everyones in love when theyre in italy.. visit piazza di spagna at sundown for a romantic dinner and spend the night walking around the tiny streets and ooof its the most wonderful feeling in the world.
i really hope you enjoy it and make the most out of it. even if you go broke, you’ll be happy knowing that you spent your money on fine quality products from the most amazing cityyyyyyyyyyyyyy!
OMG meeeeeee2 π we r planning a trip to Italy too π wanaasaa π
Our plans lel7een is, land in Milan (emirates airlines) stay cham yom, then take a train to Venice, stay cham yom, then a train to Rome, then back to Kuwait π All that will take around 10 days π¦ coz of the university summer course starting and my husbands job π¦
eshda3wa , fwai7.. thanks girls, as if i need convincing!! π
yara !!!!!!!!!!!! wanasa !! my plans is around either 23rd this mnth or 30th, and also ten to 12 days max .
Ana on June 6th π¦ till June 15th … Yahoo! Travel and http://www.concierge.com helped me alot with planning my trip. Ideas about where to go what to see where to eat where to stay where to shop aham shay π With pictures and comments by other people who have been there
yara good good.. i will definitely review it for u if i do make it before u do π
im a reading person so i loved the couple of books i bought for the 2006-07 trip planning to italy, and as to sites, i’ve been visiting all regions official tourism sites for information on tourist passes and train schedule and prices.
my road map would go more or less like this
5-6 days in rome , during which visit napoli, florence, pizza, pompii island and tuscany country side
2-days in venice
3-4 in milan, during which visit modena, and turin for car manufacture companies (my husband has a thing for cars … not so surprising lol)
and voila backo backo.
u taking ur baby too ? and what about ur packing, is it gonna be light.. and hotel.. how is it going for u, what did u choose? … o ba3ad vyyvaa what do u wanna ask ……..hmmmmmm yeah! well, we’re thinking to stay nearest to spanish steps since most of the sights are to be reached on foot. more enjoyable
No the baby is staying with my mom π¦ i’ll try to make my packing light π im not sure if i can.. bas i will definitly make sure i have room in the bag coz im planning to shop π
In Milan you MUST choose a hotel near the Duomo (which is the #1 must see site in Milan, you have to see pictures of it its breath taking). Its in the center of the city with everything within walking distance including a place called Montenapoleone which is as they said the top fashion/shopping street in the world, also there is a huge indoor gallery with shops/cafe’s called Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II all in the same huge “square” in the middle of the city.
For hotels in Milan i heard about the bvlgari hotel. But we wanted something “downtown” where the Duomo and all those things are located. So currently we are looking at Rates of the Park Hyatt Milan.
Rome? I’ve been there and yes everything is withen walking distance of the Spanish Steps. Lovely little boutiques and cafe’s too. But i dont remember seeing any hotels there. I remember we stayed at a hotel that is on the same street as the American Embassy but i cant remember what it was.
Venice, i never been there before and still didnt research any hotels or anything to do there π
Oh and yes last summer i did visit pisa and florence but we only stayed one day, it was very hot and i was very pregnant π
Sorry 3al garga sweety π¦ But this is all the research i did including the websites i gave you.. o and btw, a train leaves every hour from all cities, and its roughly 2 hours from Milan to Venice, and also from Venice to Rome.
Pisa will not take more than 3 hours from you, including seeing the leaning tower of pisa. its within driving distance of Florence.
i`ve never been there yet hope u like it enshalah u will had fun when my dad went there he came back with lots lots of nice fashionable things π
i can`t travel this summer , my husband can`t take day`s off π¦ so enjoy and have fun π
o came back enshalaah and tell me about it so i can go next year enshalah
yara, ma ngayesh π
q8pride.. i know it will be sooner than next year if ur not working on a baby like us π
